Dear Daniel,

Many people do use one-decision heuristics. However successful value investing is far from a one-decision process. I don't know any professional value investors that would purchase anything just because it's cheap.

I understand the gist of what you are trying to imply.

Let me clarify value investing(s) 2 rules.
1. Don't loose any money (aka preserve capital and avoid impairment)
2. Buy Value and Pay attention to rule number 1

I can see why this hypothesis was plausible. Many successful people do use one-decision heuristics, ones which need some experience and talent to apply properly. After all, isn't value investing's one-decision heuristic "buy a dollar for 50 cents"?
